Club Rules and Code of Conduct

In the interest of maintaining the BASS-CARS.ROOMFORUM.COM as a forum for the exchange of helpful comments and information about car audio & in car entertainment, we must request that you adhere to the following Rules and Code of Conduct:

Use of the Message Boards is at the discretion of the BASS-CARS.ROOMFORUM.COM. We reserve the right to revoke your access to the forums at any time and without having to specify a reason.

Slanderous, defamatory, false, obscene, indecent, threatening, lewd, pornographic, violent, abusive, insulting or harassing images or comments will not be tolerated, and will be removed from the forum.

Any form of direct or indirect personal attack or harassment unacceptable behaviour and is not tolerated.

If you find something extreme or offensive posted on the boards, please report the post to the Admin Team and we will deal with it appropriately.

Trolling and/or attempting to bait others into a flame war will not be tolerated. This includes Political and Racist commentary. Any posts we deem to fall in this category will be deleted and warnings issued.

Be civil and polite at all times.

Profanity and insults will not be tolerated. If you have a problem with another member an Administrator will look into the issue and come back to you once the issue has been looked into.

Under no circumstances post any issues or problems onto the forum as this is not permitted in any way shape or form as this is classed as “ Flaming ”

Images posted on BASS-CARS.ROOMFORUM.COM remain the property of the author. Should you wish to use an image, please contact the owner.

Any form of direct or indirect marketing, unless otherwise authorized by the Admin Team, is strictly prohibited. If you wish to advertise please contact the Admin Team.

Do not post unauthorized, confidential or copyrighted information on the message boards.

BASS-CARS.ROOMFORUM.COM Admin Team reserve the right to remove Member names they deem inappropriate.

By registering with BASS-CARS.ROOMFORUM.COM you agree to abide by this Code of Conduct.

If you have any questions or suggestions regarding the message boards or this Code of Conduct, please contact the Admin Team.

pornographic images/avatars and videos (including external linking) are not permitted.

If an image, avatar or video (including external linking) is viewed to imply, suggest or in breach of the above, you will be notified and asked to remove or replace it.

WARNINGS AND BANS:

First Warning: a gentle reminder/warning (indicating/placing reference to a more formal warning - if applicable). Should you be "spamming" the message boards then a temporary ban will be enforced at this level should it be deemed necessary by the Administrators

Second Warning: a more formal warning (indicating/placing reference to first warning/and continued action of misconduct) - this leading to a possible Temporary or Automatic ban.

Temporary Ban: constitutes upto a one month ban - if applicable (placing reference to ALL previous warnings).

Note: During this temporary ban the member or forum user will be permitted to view, but not post.

Automatic Ban: an immediate ban (with reference to ALL previous warnings including Temporary Ban).

Note: This particular ban means that all traces of your details will be removed/deleted from the database permanently.

RIGHT OF APPEAL

In the event of a member wishing to raise objections or is in disagreement with the application of such a ban, you have the 'right of appeal' from the outset of the imposed ban and ALL appeals should be put to the Admin Team

All appeals will be acknowledged, and each case addressed on its own merits, with due consideration and in strict confidence. Decisions made by the Admin Team are final.

Alternate / duplicate accounts are forbidden.

Should you be disciplined with a warning or ban, you are not permitted to open a new account to try to circumvent your ban.

If another account is opened, that account will be banned, and the original account may be penalized further.

Members who are under a warning or ban may not change their user name.


Market Place Section Directives/Rules

All Adverts require a recent photograph of item(s) and a fixed price.

New Threads are moderated for approval
Any adverts that do not conform to the above will be removed from the forum and you will be informed to the reasons why.

Should you not adhere to these rules The Admin/Moderator Team will review your membership which could lead to your privilege of being able to use market place removed

The Moderators and Admin reserve the right to move that For Sale/Wanted post to the appropriate the market place Section or to completely remove it.

Dissatisfaction of transaction (sale/purchase):

BASS-CARS.ROOMFORUM.COM grant provision of the market place section for members and forum users to purchase and sell their own private car items and general items.

BASS-CARS.ROOMFORUM.COM team reserve the right to remain as a third party and play no part in any verbal or written contract between the parties.

We will not held responsible or liable for the exchange or transaction of goods or payments between two members.

Gallery

The gallery is set up for you to post pictures of your car. Any member found misusing the gallery will have their gallery removed.

Please do not upload any pornographic images.

Should you wish to arrange a local meet in your area, please contact your Area Rep.

Please note at these meets you are representing BASS-CARS.ROOMFORUM.COM, so no showing-off by driving without due care or consideration, or behaving in an irresponsible manner to the general public or other road users.

We do not condone handbrake turns, doughnuts, wheel-spinning or high speed driving. It's not big and it's not clever. Any member found breaking these rules will face a permanent ban

BASS-CARS.ROOMFORUM.COM will not be held responsible or liable for anything that may happen at a meet or event.
